Møbelfabrikken Vestre supplies fantastic outdoor furniture to many international cities, and now a visitor-friendly factory is opening at Magnor in the Kongsvinger region - Norway's green heart.

The factory was designed by the Danish architectural firm BIG, and will be much more than just a factory. Here you can enjoy spectacular architecture, a visitor center and a 300 m adventure park! Take the family on a picnic in the area and check out the art installations in the park.

From the roof of The Plus you can see more of what goes on inside the factory, and one of Norway's highest slides can take you back down quickly, safely and fun, whether you're young or old!

Guided tours and group visits
It is possible to visit the factory and learn more about Norwegian furniture production. Here you get to experience the spectacular architecture of The Plus - designed by the world-renowned BIG Bjarke Ingels Group - from the inside. On the tour, you will hear more about Vestre's history from the start in 1947, how architecture, technology, people and nature are united in The Plus, and how we work with both social and environmental sustainability.

The green roof and Vestre Forest Camp, which is the area around the factory, is a tribute to the common law and always open to everyone. If you want a tour inside the factory with one of our guides, you must buy a ticket. The tour follows the products' journey in the factory premises, and you can see our robots Margot and Randi powder coaters, and experience how nature, light and aesthetics affect us humans.

Enjoy the packed lunch in the sunshine
​​​​With everything you can experience at The Plus, it's a good idea to bring a lunch. We recommend enjoying the packed lunch outdoors on the seating areas in the forest area or on the factory roof. There are also great opportunities to bring your picnic blanket and find a peaceful spot for yourself.

If you don't bring you lunch along, it's only a 3-minute drive to Ingelsrud confectionery. You can also ask to have the food and drink delivered at the agreed time at The Plus.

We ask you to always show respect for nature so that the next ones who come also have an equally good experience.
• Throw rubbish in the waste containers we have put out.
• Be aware that it can be very dry in the forest at times. We therefore advise against smoking in these areas.
• Smoking on the roof is not permitted.
