About Sjusjøen Langrennsarena
Sjusjøen is a popular area for workouts as well as more relaxed trips. One of the favourite routes is Birkebeinerløypa as it winds its way through this varied terrain and offers cross-country skiing in open mountain scenery as well as in the forest. The trails are clearly marked, and every junction has a trail map as well as signposts with place names and distances in km.
Starting point for trips at Sjusjøen is the car park by Sjusjøen Langrennsarena (NB: parking fee).
How to reach Sjusjøen?
By car:
From the north: take the turn-off to Lillehammer and follow signs for route 216 until you reach Sjusjøen.
From the south: from the E6, take the turn-off to Moelv and follow signs for Sjusjøen.

Go by train or bus to Lillehammer station. Bus no. 501 from Lillehammer station to Sjusjøen.
