A green day trip from Oslo to Gjøvik by train
Gjøvik has a wonderful small-town charm with a rich cultural life, well-known attractions, urban outdoor dining, great concert venues and good shopping and restaurant opportunities. You can take this nice day trip to Gjøvik, the white town by the Mjøsa, from Oslo with the Vy Gjøvikbanen (railway). If you are here during the summer holiday, you can combine the day trip with a nice sailing with the beautiful paddle steamer, Skibladner from 1886.
