Experience the Lygna Cabin by Lygnasæter Hotel
The Lygna cabin is located 630 meters above the sea level in a calm area, just 500 meters from Lygnasæter Hotel and slightly more than 1 hour from Lillehammer and Oslo.
Facilities
The cabin is 160 m² and boasts 7 bedrooms with a max capacity of 16 persons, kitchen, living room, ski storage, 2 bathrooms and 4 toilets. With a king size dining table all your social gatherings, games and meals is easily organized. In the living room you will find two large sofas, TV, a cosy fireplace, and of course a reliable WiFi.
Activities right outside the doorstep
Leaving the cabin, you will walk straight into the great outdoors with plenty of opportunities to go fishing, hiking, biking, hunting, foraging, bathing in the small forest waters. Check out the Norwegian Trekking association's marked hiking paths and biking routes along the myriad of forest roads. When it comes to skiing and biking routes you will find various outdooring options on www.lygna.no and the Skiing association's homepage. Also, make sure to try our 2,5km rolling ski-track on Lygna Skiing Centre, Arena of the Norwegian skiing championship in 2017 and 2019.
Lygna got stable snow conditions and the cabin is situated right by the skiing tracks, a few minutes from Lygna Skiing Centre and the 10 kilometre floodlit track. In daylight, you have access to 200 kilometres of top notch tracks running all the way to Oslo and Gjøvik. Check Lygna's homepage for the preparation status and fresh info on the tracks. A great destination nearby is the Lushaug cabin located 4 kilometres away through light terrain. The cabin was built in 2018 and serves coffee, waffles and other tasty outdooring treats. They are mainly open during the weekends between Christmas and Easter. In the vicinity of Lushaugen Cabin, you may also visit the Lushaugen peak (812 meters above the se level) and venture up the firewatch tower sporting a grand view of the Hadeland and Toten regions.

The lygna cabin is owned by Lygnasæter Hotel, who takes care of the booking and any questions you may have. At the hotel you may find a splendid tavern offering a wide range of dishes from local traditions to international experiences. The nearby gas station got a rapid charges, should you have an electrical car.
