Odalen's open-air museum
At Odalstunet, buildings and objects from all over Odalen are collected, and the museum was formed just after the Second World War. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​At a safe distance from the other houses are the clothes shop and the forge. In the forest we find the homestead and just beyond is the logger's hut.

The museum area itself is accessible free of charge all year round, although the buildings are only open during events. Outside the museum's opening hours, you can experience Odalstunet using the digital KulturPunkt trail.

With the help of the free app KulturPunkt, you can find historical sights around you, orient yourself based on a map or a list, and go on a journey of discovery at your own pace. Here you will find reading material, photos showing how the houses look inside, video clips from events, and audio clips with information about the buildings and local folk music.
