You don't always have to buy equipment
There's no need to buy a lot of equipment just to try a new activity, first check if you can borrow it from one of the many equipment centers in the area. Borrowing equipment is both sustainable and economical!
Did you know that BUA rents out equipment free of charge for up to a week? If you're going away and need to borrow the equipment for a little longer than a week, you can always contact them to ask if it's okay. :)
What can I rent? Most equipment centers provides an online overview of their equipment, opening hours and availability. Unfortunately their websites usually is only available in Norwegian.
If you can't read Norwegian, the two easiest solutions would be:
• To use a browser that provides automatic on-page-translations, such as Google Chrome.
• Or to contact your local equipment centre by phone or email. They will be happy to help you out. :) -
