Order terms
An order is binding when you click on "Confirm order". Your order is confirmed when you receive confirmation by e-mail with a reference number. Always check whether it is in accordance with the order. Check especially for package orders that all the components you expect to be in the package is included in the confirmation. If anything is unclear, please contact the individual provider as soon as possible. We recommend that all our guests print out the confirmation and take it with them to the venue. You must be at least 18 years old to make an order through Visit Øst-Norge If you want we can make the order for you by phone or e-mail, a service fee of NOK 250 per order will then apply.

Payment and security
Payment is made when the order is completed. Nets Easy is responsible for the payment solution and the transaction itself, and that the correct amount is deducted from your account. If the payment was not completed on your part, no order will be created. You will then also not receive an order confirmation.
All personal information is provided on an encrypted page (SSL 128 bit) where it is safe to enter information about yourself and your credit card. Only Nets Easy has access to your payment information. In addition to Nets Easy, Visit Øst-Norge SA and the supplier(s) of the product you have ordered have access to your name and contact information. This information will be used to process your order.

Cancellation / change
To cancel or change your order, you must contact us directly at Visit Øst-Norge SA, by contacting info@visitostnorge.no. If the cancellation is made less than 7 days before arrival, please contact both the supplier and Visit Øst-Norge SA.

Visit Øst-Norge SA has no control over the exchange rate that will be calculated for refunds to credit cards and cannot take responsibility for any loss of funds. Please note that Visit East Norway does not pay any costs for international bank transfers. The fee is covered by a refund fee (approx. NOK 50 when using an international bank transfer).

Cancellation deadlines:
Accommodation, activities and packages may have different payment terms. You will be informed of the rules that apply to your order as part of the order process. You will also receive this by email as part of the order confirmation. Some of our suppliers and partners operate with other cancellation conditions in addition to ours. This applies in particular when booking flights, accommodation and car hire. In these cases, you will be informed of your own regulations when you order.

Separate rules for cancellation/change for renting a bicycle and clothing/equipment:
- If you cancel 1 hour after booking or more than 30 days before the date you have rented equipment or activity: Everything will be refunded
- Cancellation 8 - 30 days before the date you have borrowed equipment: 50% refunded
- Cancellation 8 days before the date you have borrowed equipment: no refund

Separate conditions for booking accommodation:
- Check-in and check-out: The accommodation is at your disposal from 15.00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated no later than 12.00. The room is reserved for arrival no later than 18.00. If you arrive later, you must notify the accommodation in advance.
- Liability for damage: The guest, or whoever stands as guarantor for the room/apartment/cottage, is responsible for damage to the premises as a result of negligence or irresponsible behavior by the guests.

Insurance / cancellation protection
We advise all our customers and ourselves to take out good insurance agreements before the trip, in case of illness, baggage, accident, liability and the like.

Our suppliers
We are responsible for our suppliers getting paid for what you have ordered through us. Our suppliers are again responsible for each part of your programme, including full insurance, permits, equipment, staffing etc., which are in accordance with the laws and regulations applicable to the supplier.

Cancellations / significant changes from our side
Cancellations/significant changes may occur due to:
- conditions over which we or the supplier are not in control; e.g. weather conditions, accidents, labor disputes, etc.
- that conditions are not met; e.g. caveat regarding the minimum number of participants: for most trips, a minimum number of participants is set at 2 fully paying people. Note that the minimum number of participants can rise to a minimum of 6 fully paying people for boat trips and flights.

If such a cancellation/substantial change occurs, and you do not accept any alternative offer from the supplier you may receive on the spot, we will refund 100%. However, in order to give you the best possible experience, we reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the itinerary. Such adjustments may occur, e.g. due to weather and driving conditions.

Groups

Price groups
The supplier determines the price level and age limit for children's and young people's prices. Student price: only valid with a valid student card. Pensioner/Honorary discount: applies to guests aged 67 or over with a valid honorary card. Necessary documentation must be presented upon arrival.

Complaints
We would like to point out that in the event of any complaints or other statements relating to the individual arrangement for a supplier, the inquiry must be directed to the relevant supplier. Visit Øst-Norge SA has no responsibility related to the individual product. Visit Øst-Norge SA is only responsible for forwarding your order to the supplier, who is responsible for carrying out activities, providing accommodation or renting equipment in line with your order. It is the supplier who must ensure that both safety and the delivery of the product are in line with the description.
