Travel green-certified experiences is marked with a tuft of grass on Visit East Norway's pages. The grass tuft is the collective symbol that shows that the company has at least one official environmental certification and allows you to be sure that they take active environmental responsibility beyond the measures required by Norwegian law. Individually and collectively, these environmental certifications guarantee that the branded experiences and accommodations follow strict rules and guidelines for the production and handling of waste, energy consumption, transport, requirements for subcontractors and the use of chemicals.
