Gjøvik, Toten and Søndre Land offer a peaceful and quiet cultural landscape between two of Norway's largest lakes, Mjøsa and Randsfjorden, with good opportunities for walks along the water and through the forests. Totenåsen, Vardalsåsen and Gjøvikmarka are all good hiking destinations on foot, by bike or skis.
